Pompeii's Children is a coed team that was formed in 1999 and has grown to become Broward's largest team.  Pompeii welcomes any age and any skill level.  Voted the State's most spirited team at the 2006 & 2007 Sunshine State Games, Pompeii strives to balance tough competition with excellent spirit!

If you want to be a part of Pompeii's Children, contact team captain Kristin Deffler at 954.593.0040 or by email at UltimateKristin@yahoo.com.  Everyone who is willing to learn, grow, play hard and maintain the highest ultimate spirit is welcome to Pompeii.  Team practices are year-round and open to all team members, new.  However, the 1 month preceding a tournament, team practices are open only to those players attending the tournament.  Friday night pick-up is still available to those not attending the specific tournament during that month.

Team Practices:

Tuesdays from 7:00 - 10:00pm at the Pines Optimist Club (7400 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL) and Sundays from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Broward Community College's Central Campus (3501 SW Davie Road, Davie, FL 33314).

Recent Team Activities: Pompeii is more than a team, it's a family.  The team hangs out both on and off the field.  Joining Pompeii means instantly gaining 20+ friends.  Off-field team activities have included camping, ice skating, bowling, canoeing, surfing, adventure ropes course, hockey game, karaoke, attending plays, adventure racing, dancing, partying and more. 

Ladies:  Pompeii is always excited about welcoming new players, men and women.  With the number of women required to play at many tournaments, women are ALWAYS in demand.  So c'mon ladies, if you're thinking about playing Ultimate, Pompeii is your team!
